Choir

Third and fourth grade students may participate in choir.  Practice is on Friday mornings from 7:45 to 8:15.  Contact our music teacher, Russel Mahon, at rmahon@magnoliaisd.org for more information.  

Concerts: Both the 3rd grade choir and the 4th grade choir will have the opportunity to perform numerous times. 

• Veteran's Day - We will try to have the choir sing the national anthem at the program.
• Christmas- Christmas Concert
• Spring- Spring Concert
• Lonestar Choir Festival- This festival usually happens in April.  More info to come.

Uniform: We will order choir polos for the students and an order form will be coming out for that soon. Besides the shirt, the uniform consists of black pants and black shoes.***

There will be fun solo opportunities and most importantly wonderful memories to be made in choir!

The choir permission forms were handed out to students the second week of school. Choir polo order forms will be coming out soon and will be handed out to students at choir/school. 

If you have any questions, want to help with concert decorations, and/or if you have musical experience and want to help with part-work when we get further along in the rehearsal process, I would love for you to come join as SES Choir Parent Volunteers! If so, email me at rmahon@magnoliaisd.org.
