Creating strong work habits for kids starts now. Please make sure they arrive at school with plenty of time to be in class by 8:30. If they are checked out before dismissal, they will accrue a "leave early." If they get a combined total of eight tardies and leave earlies, parents must attend a truancy class. Thank you for helping us make school a priority.
We will begin are permanent school hours of 8:30 to 3:40 on Tuesday, September 8th. We are excited to bring most of our kids back to school. Please make sure that your child arrives with plenty of time to make it into their classroom when the bell rings at 8:30. For dismissal, please be patient as we will have many car riders and it will take a while.
It is very important that all parents and guardians log in to the Teams Parent Portal to verify student information. This is also required in order to access the teachers's Canvas webpage. Click on the link in this story to log in.
Attendance matters to your child's success! Make sure your child is at school every day. Did you know that missing just 2 days of school a month means a child misses 10% of the school year? Poor attendance can influence whether children read proficiently by the end of 3rd grade. Absenteeism and its ill effects start early. Learning happens everyday! You must be present to learn!
